Lux Lifestyle was established in 2022 to support foster care teens and the workers who support them. The company was started by Jenny Cotton, who decided to create a sustainable solution to the challenges and issues within the foster care system. By donating 100% of the profit from our gift boxes, we strive to illuminate current issues in the foster system, increase awareness for these issues, and enact change. Lux Lifestyle is especially focused on helping foster teens transition to independent living by providing them with the tools, resources, support, and encouragement they need to do so. We are a community-centric company. This means that we are conscientious of all parties involved in our process, from those within the foster system to gift purchasers and their recipients. We are intentional in both facets of our gifting, as we curate beautiful gifts and decide which foster causes to support.

What’s the difference between a gift bundle, bag, and box?
These are our three categories for our three different sizes of boxes, with the Bundle being the smallest and Box being the largest. Whichever you choose, you can feel rest assured that we’ve intentionally curated the products in each offering!
How do you decide what goes in your gift boxes?
In general, we always include items that we love, stylish items, and items that are sourced sustainably. More specifically, we like to include one item that has a wellness or self-care component, one seasonal item, and one that’s truly unique and hard to find anywhere else.
If I’m choosing a pre-made gift, is there a chance that substitutions will be made?
That’s correct. We work with small businesses and sustainably sourced products, which means that sometimes, the items that we love get sold out. But no need to worry: we always find a worthy replacement to add to the mix!
